Embedded Software Developer Intern - Security (Embedded Security): Developing CI/CD components, tests, and low-level embedded security software using C, scripting, simulated environments, FPGAs, and hardware with an accent on secure firmware development and hardware-near debugging. Focus on building reliable security features, verifying product quality through unit and integration testing, and solving complex issues across software, virtual platforms, and embedded hardware.
Location: Brno or Rožnov, Czech Republic. A valid visa and work permit for the Czech Republic are required at the application stage.

What you will do
- Develop CI/CD components for embedded security software.
- Develop unit and integration tests to verify product quality.
- Work with simulated virtual environments, FPGAs, and physical hardware.
- Debug complex issues spanning low-level software and hardware domains.
- Contribute to secure firmware, secure boot and update mechanisms, cryptography integration, and hardware-based security features.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define security requirements, analyze risks, and implement protections.
Requirements
- Practical experience with scripting, including Python, Jenkins/YAML, or batch scripting.
- Practical experience with embedded programming in C and an interest in working close to hardware.
- Understanding of microcontroller architecture fundamentals.
- Analytical thinking and reliable debugging skills for embedded targets and low-level software.
- Working knowledge of Git or other version control tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and hold a valid visa and work permit for the Czech Republic.
