Software QA Engineer/Intern (AI-Powered)

Location: Onsite in Astana, Kazakhstan

What you will do

• Write automated tests using Playwright and Selenium in real code repositories.
• Participate in code reviews and apply software engineering practices to QA automation.
• Perform API testing, database checks, log analysis, and exploratory testing.
• Analyze requirements and test complex business logic.
• Use AI tools for coding, test data generation, and requirements analysis while assessing their limitations.
• Complete a structured 4–5 month mentoring program before transitioning into a full-time role.

Requirements

• Degree or final-year studies in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Junior-level knowledge of JavaScript or Java.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming fundamentals.
• English level: B1 or higher.
• Based in Astana and available 40 hours per week for training, the internship, and the following role.
• No previous professional experience required.
