What you will do
- Ensure the overall quality of clinical care delivered by ASACS counselors.
- Mentor counselors on clinical care and approaches for referred adolescents.
- Coordinate clinical decision-making for high-risk situations.
- Review PCOMS data and provide consultation and mentorship.
- Evaluate case-management factors and implement process improvements.
- Conduct clinical record reviews, document findings, and contribute to quarterly reports.
Requirements
- Master’s degree from an accredited university in counseling or social work, or a PhD in clinical psychology; CACREP accreditation is required for counseling programs.
- Drug and alcohol certification such as MRAS, CSAC, CAP, or CADAC.
- Independent clinical licensure as an LCSW, LMHC/LPC, LMFT, or licensed clinical/counseling psychologist.
- At least 2 years of supervised postgraduate counseling experience with adolescents.
- At least 5 years of direct adolescent alcohol and other drug prevention and treatment experience.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as an ASACS Counselor.
