People Operations Specialist

What you will do

• Provide timely support to employees and managers across People Operations questions and requests.
• Manage employee lifecycle processes and documentation, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
• Support People Operations across Balkan locations and maintain accurate employee data.
• Improve employee support through workflows, knowledge articles, process guides, request routing, and self-service.
• Identify recurring issues and use data, automation, and AI to improve processes and reduce manual work.
• Partner with People, Payroll, Finance, IT, and other functions to resolve employee issues.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, employee support, or a similar role.
• Experience supporting day-to-day People processes and employee lifecycle activities.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high volume of requests while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
• Comfort working across multiple systems and tools and creating useful documentation.
• Ability to manage competing priorities independently and maintain accurate employee data.

Nice to have

• Experience with HRIS, ticketing systems, or employee service platforms.
• Experience building workflows, knowledge bases, or employee self-service solutions.
• Experience supporting People Operations in North Macedonia, Kosovo, or other Balkan locations.
• Experience with data analysis, process automation, AI tools, or globally distributed teams.
