What you will do

• Verify, document, request, and secure health plan travel authorizations and pre-approvals.
• Confirm transportation and authorization details with medical facilities, health plans, and vendors.
• Provide clear, compassionate support to members regarding authorizations, approved providers, and denials.
• Deliver timely documentation and maintain accurate records in line with compliance requirements.
• Adapt to changing travel schedules and unforeseen circumstances while prioritizing member needs.
• Meet productivity and quality standards in a high-volume service environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in authorization coordination or a similar logistics-based role.
• At least 1 year of experience in a high-volume inbound call center or customer service environment.
• Strong data entry, multitasking, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of cost tracking, budgeting, or service expense management.
• Typing speed of at least 35 WPM.

Nice to have

• Some college coursework or a degree in hospitality, business, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Medicaid NEMT guidelines.
