Threat Emulation Engineer (AI)

Salary: $71,100–$145,900 annual base pay, plus eligibility for incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Collaborate with security team members to scope and execute realistic cyber attack operations.
• Research and operationalize emerging AI technologies, including AI-enabled adversary techniques.
• Define, plan, document, and communicate attack operations and their intended outcomes.
• Create and operate infrastructure, services, and applications supporting attack operations.
• Research technologies and architectures to identify weaknesses within realistic attack chains.
• Evaluate evolving threats, risks, vulnerabilities, and defensive controls to support detection and response improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 4–6 years of cybersecurity-related experience.
• Understanding of cloud concepts, especially AWS, and how attackers may leverage cloud environments.
• Understanding of networking protocols and their application in red team operations.
• Experience with Python, C#, Ruby, or Node.
• Understanding of Windows internals, particularly authentication, plus the ability to rapidly prototype reusable tools.
