What you will do
- Own the financial workstream of the EMI licensing process.
- Prepare and defend financial projections, budgets, capital and liquidity plans, and stress scenarios.
- Coordinate financial submissions and communication with regulators, auditors, and advisers.
- Build finance governance, internal controls, approval processes, and policies.
- Lead accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, management reporting, and regulatory reporting.
- Build the finance team, systems, and external partnerships needed for growth.
Requirements
- 5+ years of senior finance leadership experience, including CFO-level responsibility in an EU-regulated financial institution.
- Hands-on experience with an EMI, Payment Institution, banking, or similar licence application.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting, capital adequacy, liquidity, safeguarding, and financial governance.
- Experience leading accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, audit, and management reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- English and Russian required.
