What you will do

• Optimize the performance of PHP 8.1+ applications and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain and develop new internal/external integrations with providers and microservices.
• Refactor and optimize existing monolithic code.
• Write unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Develop and document APIs.
• Conduct code reviews and participate in cross-reviews.
• Collaborate closely with the QA and Product teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Familiarity with popular frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, and Yii.
• Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL), including building complex queries, working with aggregations, and optimizing indexes.
• Experience with REST APIs and microservice architecture.
• Experience with Redis/Memcache for caching strategies.
• Practical experience with RabbitMQ or similar message brokers to build scalable, asynchronous systems.
• Understanding of shared resources, locks, idempotency, and ACID principles.
• Hands-on experience with Docker.
