Senior Software Engineer (C/C++)

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Dublin office (Hybrid)

Salary: €87,800 – €131,800 EUR

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain client-side SDKs, middleware, and system software using C/C++.
• Lead technical design discussions and drive architecture decisions for platform capabilities.
• Create clean, scalable, and maintainable APIs to improve developer experience.
• Own complex features from design through delivery, ensuring high reliability and performance.
• Collaborate with global engineering teams in Tokyo and other locations to drive technical alignment.
• Mentor other engineers and improve development processes, release quality, and operational practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of professional experience in C/C++ production software development.
• Proven experience designing SDKs, frameworks, or complex client-side systems.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, object-oriented design, and API design.
• Experience with client/server architectures, networking, or distributed systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with cross-platform SDK development.
• Familiarity with mobile development (iOS/Android) or React Native.
• Experience with C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Knowledge of CI/CD systems and release engineering.
