Senior Mechanical Engineer (Automotive): Designing and industrializing mechanical components for automotive camera systems, monitors, and display modules with an accent on thermal performance, vibration resistance, sealing, and precision alignment. Focus on developing CAD models and drawings, validating mechatronic hardware for mass production, and solving complex integration challenges across mechanical, electrical, optical, and software domains.
Location: Tallinn, Estonia
Salary: €3,900–€4,400 per month

What you will do
- Design and industrialize automotive camera, monitor, and display systems, including rear-view, side-view, surround-view, and instrument-cluster applications.
- Collaborate with electrical, software, and optical teams to integrate imaging hardware.
- Develop and validate CAD models, technical drawings, tolerance analyses, DFMEA, and design reviews.
- Address thermal dissipation, vibration, sealing, IP-rating, and optical-alignment challenges.
- Work with suppliers and customers on component development, tooling, validation, and automotive quality compliance.
- Support technical reviews and environmental and durability testing, and mentor junior engineers when needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent expertise.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive mechanical design, development, and integration.
- Proficiency with CAD tools such as Siemens NX, Creo, CATIA, or Inventor.
- Knowledge of materials, thermal management, sealing, mounting systems, and validation procedures for electronic modules.
- Experience with mechatronic product development, ADAS systems, camera or monitor hardware, and mass-production processes.
- Understanding of thermal simulation, mechanical FEA, optical alignment, and automotive communication protocols including LVDS, Ethernet, and CAN.
