Game Data Analyst (Gamedev)

Location: Hybrid work setup in Berlin, Germany. Relocation support is available for moving to Berlin.

What you will do

• Partner with product and game teams to analyze player behavior, engagement, and progression.
• Perform advanced SQL analyses to identify patterns and drivers behind player actions.
• Design and evaluate player segments, behavioral cohorts, and A/B tests.
• Build and maintain reliable, analytics-ready data models and document datasets and metrics.
• Contribute to self-service reporting and visualization.
• Collaborate with analysts and data infrastructure specialists to improve analytical workflows and support roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency with data visualization tools.
• Experience working with complex datasets and analytical data models.
• Ability to translate data into clear insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Curiosity, ownership, and willingness to learn new tools and approaches.
• Applications must be submitted in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Looker and dbt.
• Python or R for data analysis.
• Familiarity with data orchestration tools such as Airflow.
• Background in games, free-to-play, or product analytics.
