What you will do
- Develop and execute long-term procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop buyers and expeditors within the purchasing department.
- Build supplier partnerships focused on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Oversee supplier risk mitigation and manage complex global sourcing challenges.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance to forecast material requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in sourcing, procurement processes, and supplier performance while ensuring policy and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in procurement or supply chain leadership.
- Extensive knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier development.
- Experience managing procurement teams, with strong negotiation, analytical, decision-making, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement analytics, and supply chain software.
Nice to have
- Master’s degree in Business or Supply Chain.
- CPSM, CPM, or APICS/CSCP certification.
- Experience in HVAC or industrial manufacturing.
