Senior Security Operations Engineer (Medtech)

Location: Must be based in or able to work from our headquarters in central Stockholm, Sweden.

What you will do

• Lead the technical response to security incidents, including scope assessment, containment, and remediation.
• Develop a repeatable detection lifecycle covering creation, testing, tuning, and retirement.
• Build and maintain SIEM integrations, telemetry health checks, and detection quality metrics.
• Manage the operating model with our Managed Detection and Response (MDR) provider.
• Implement practical AI-assisted security workflows with appropriate human oversight and audit controls.
• Coordinate security incident training and exercises to improve team readiness.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Stockholm, Sweden.
• Proven experience in detection engineering, including validation and tuning.
• Strong background in incident command, security exercises, or internal training.
• Experience working with co-managed MDR or managed security service providers.
• Experience managing detections, automation, or integrations as version-controlled code.
• Experience in healthcare, regulated environments, or high-growth technology companies.
