TL;DR
Full Stack Developer (IoT) (Java/JavaScript): Building intelligent electronic tolling web applications, backend services, and APIs for international mobility customers with an accent on full-stack development, cloud-native technologies, and automated deployment. Focus on integrating REST/SOAP services, improving CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting production issues, and supporting reliable tolling solutions.
Location: Budapest, Debrecen, PΓ©cs, or Szeged, Hungary; remote work is available only within Hungary due to European taxation regulations.

What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications and backend services for intelligent electronic tolling solutions.
- Implement frontend and backend features and integrate REST, SOAP, JSON, and external services.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and cloud-native applications.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and related DevOps technologies throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps Engineers, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve software quality, performance, security, and operational reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of software development experience with strong Java skills.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web frameworks.
- Knowledge of REST, SOAP, JSON, Spring Boot, Apache Wicket, Bootstrap, or similar technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of Clean Code, software quality principles, automated testing, TDD, and agile methodologies; excellent English communication skills required.
Nice to have
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Helm, Artifactory, or infrastructure automation.
- Experience with SAFe, Apache Wicket, mobility, transportation, or tolling solutions.
- German language skills.
