Technical Assistance Expert

What you will do

• Analyse IT systems, databases, and business processes to identify improvement opportunities and data-quality issues.
• Extract, validate, and analyse data, identifying trends, anomalies, and risks while preparing reports and dashboards.
• Gather user and business requirements and support functional specifications, testing, and UAT.
• Assess the impact of policy and regulatory changes on IT systems, data, and processes.
• Provide technical and analytical support for system development and improvement.
• Prepare technical documentation and business assessments while collaborating with IT, policy, legal, and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• University degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in IT systems, databases, data analytics, or policy analysis.
• Experience with databases, data analysis, reporting, and data visualisation tools.
• Ability to translate technical and policy requirements into practical recommendations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of English required; French knowledge is an asset.

Nice to have

• Experience in a public-sector or regulatory environment.
• Experience with EU institutions, agencies, international organisations, or regulatory systems.
