Implementation Manager (Payments)

What you will do

• Own the post-sales integration phase for the largest and most complex deals, from handover through testing to go live.
• Run kickoffs with internal and external stakeholders, set launch dates, and keep implementation progress on track.
• Organise testing, track feedback, and raise issues as they surface.
• Coordinate with sales, product, engineering, and merchants to maintain alignment through launch.
• Maintain documentation and playbooks that make delivery predictable and scalable.
• Help shape the newly formed implementation function as hirify.global expands into the Italian market.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in ecommerce or payments in a similar role.
• Fluent Italian and English for supporting the Italian market and working with local merchants.
• Strong organisational, structuring, and project management skills.
• Technical interest and the ability to understand concepts such as APIs.
• Ownership mindset, flexibility, and clear, open communication.
• Experience collaborating with pre-sales teams and handling conflict during handover.

Nice to have

• Payments or ecommerce experience, or familiarity with the payments ecosystem.
