What you will do
- Process and analyze samples using established methods, LCMS, laboratory instrumentation, computer systems, and LIMS.
- Collect, record, interpret, and report analytical data while maintaining accurate records.
- Calibrate, troubleshoot, maintain, and schedule servicing for laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Develop, modify, validate, and implement analytical methods, including reporting deviations and shortcomings.
- Write, review, and maintain SOPs, work instructions, quality control records, and analytical reports.
- Investigate nonconformities and improvement requests, implement corrective and preventive actions, and support laboratory management.
Requirements
- Grade 12 and a bachelor's degree or equivalent in chemistry, biology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant laboratory experience.
- Experience with LIMS.
- Systematic, thorough, accurate, and attentive to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow safety protocols, SOPs, and quality management procedures.
