2nd Level Engineer Backoffice IT Operation

Location: Bratislava, Slovakia; hybrid model with one day per week in the office

What you will do

• Resolve assigned incidents within SLA and provide second- and basic third-level support for internal IT services.
• Drive problem management activities to identify and eliminate root causes.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams on advanced technical support.
• Plan, document, and implement changes or extensions for managed applications.
• Monitor services and components using Splunk dashboards, queries, alerts, and reports.
• Create and maintain procedures, checklists, and knowledge-base documentation.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with PowerShell or SQL scripting and Splunk.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, Active Directory, Windows Server, Windows OS, SQL Server, ERP, and processing systems.
• Familiarity with Citrix-based applications and in-house-developed products.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
• Willingness to travel and work on-call during weekends and public holidays.

Nice to have

• Slovak language skills.
• Knowledge of Actian Zen Database, Dataflex, Java, or .NET Framework.
• ITIL certification.
