TL;DR
Lab Technician (Softline TIC Lab) (Chemistry and Product Testing): Preparing and analyzing environmental and softline product samples while following quality procedures and turnaround requirements with an accent on physical, colorfastness, dimensional, flammability, fiber-content, and footwear testing. Focus on monitoring laboratory instruments, validating test methods and SOPs, maintaining correlation testing requirements, and providing technical support on testing and reporting.

What you will do
- Prepare and analyze environmental and softline samples according to quality systems and operational procedures.
- Monitor product testing processes and laboratory instruments to ensure accurate and timely results.
- Support proficiency testing, internal and external correlation testing, and compliance with client requirements.
- Develop and validate test methods, SOPs, safety documentation, and quality documents.
- Track new standards, testing methods, and customer requirements.
- Provide technical support to Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, and clients regarding testing and reporting.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a softline testing laboratory.
- Experience with physical, colorfastness, dimensional, flammability, fiber-content, or footwear testing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
- Familiarity with ISO 17025 requirements.
- English communication at B level or equivalent.
