Senior IT Associate (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

What you will do

• Maintain and troubleshoot network systems, servers, data storage, and related infrastructure.
• Provide technical assistance to staff across Ethiopia, resolve service issues, and document tickets and solutions.
• Manage laptops, desktops, mobile devices, operating systems, software installations, updates, repairs, and upgrades.
• Maintain call center technology, including VoIP systems, and resolve issues affecting service delivery.
• Support IT procurement, vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and purchase records.
• Implement cybersecurity measures, monitor threats, handle incidents, and provide urgent assistance outside normal working hours when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in an IT role.
• Experience with call center technology, IT procurement, cybersecurity, computer networking, and operating systems.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Malagasy are required.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and availability for urgent issues outside normal working hours.
