What you will do

  • Program, install, and troubleshoot Keyence and Cognex vision systems used in battery manufacturing.
  • Program, install, and troubleshoot Mitsubishi and Omron PLC systems.
  • Analyze product and equipment specifications to develop manufacturable designs and assess equipment modification feasibility.
  • Prepare or direct layouts, detailed drawings, schematics, and prototype systems.
  • Plan experimental test programs, analyze test data, and evaluate engineering results against functional and performance requirements.
  • Collaborate with research and related departments, including overseas teams, to resolve technical problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of controls engineering experience.
  • Experience with control wiring, electrical hardware, drawings, sequence control, and software design.
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 79, related UL standards, hazardous locations classified as Class I, Division 2, and 480 V panel installations.
  • Familiarity with wiring and cabling sizes, terminations, load and temperature requirements, energy optimization, American environmental laws, and UL requirements.
  • Must have valid authorization to work in the United States without restriction.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical, electrochemical, or materials engineering.
  • Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Resilience, self-motivation, adaptability, and the ability to work under pressure.
