Maintenance Services Representative (Avionics)

What you will do

• Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, built-in tests, and manual tests on aircraft in-flight entertainment systems.
• Troubleshoot electronic units, cabling, and seat consoles down to line-replaceable modules.
• Remove and replace defective electronic assemblies, modules, and cabling to restore system functionality.
• Operate airport vehicles and airline communications equipment while working around aircraft.
• Communicate with customers and document testing and repairs using computer and bar-coding equipment.
• Prepare parts and assist with spares inventory tracking.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related industry experience is preferred, with knowledge gained through commercial aviation, military experience, or technical school education.
• Academic and technical qualifications sufficient to meet regulatory licensing requirements, including FAA A&P requirements.
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation and verbal instructions in English; English comprehension is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass airport authority access, vehicle operation, security, and background checks.
