Overview

You will be working on Bazel monorepo, which is a set of shared libraries, build infrastructure and tooling for service operation, combined with the Bazel build system. You will focus on the development of Scala libraries.

What you will do

• Develop Scala libraries.
• Form and disseminate best practices in working with databases, APIs, and in solving other typical problems.
• Develop services in the entire area of responsibility of the team: Bazel, CI/CD, tooling for service operation.
• Proactively search for problems in our Scala stack and their solutions.

Requirements

• Commercial development experience of 5 years or more (mainly on the JVM stack).
• Scala development with effect systems (ZIO, Cats Effect, Monix) for more than a year.
• Understanding of the backend (API, databases, queues, observability, etc.).
• Desire to develop libraries and tools for developers.
• Readiness to work with code in different languages: in addition to Scala, we have Python, Bash and Kotlin.
