Location: New Albany, Ohio, United States; onsite at the manufacturing facility. 12-hour shift from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Approximately 15% travel required.
Salary: $125,062.20–$169,201.80 annual base salary

What you will do
- Provide engineering and maintenance support for pharmaceutical product assembly, labeling, and packaging lines.
- Lead experienced maintenance and engineering personnel supporting commercial manufacturing operations.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, triage, process improvements, and on-the-floor technical support.
- Develop and improve maintenance strategies, job plans, spare-parts lists, preventive maintenance programs, and SOPs.
- Evaluate equipment and instrumentation failure histories and implement improvements that increase safety, compliance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Manage selected maintenance service providers and coordinate communication with site teams, vendors, and senior engineering leadership.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in engineering or a related discipline with 3 years of related experience; or bachelor’s degree with 5 years; associate degree with 10 years; or high school diploma/GED with 12 years.
- Direct people-management or leadership experience involving teams, projects, programs, or resource allocation.
- Experience with mechanical equipment repair in a manufacturing environment; packaging equipment experience is preferred.
- Strong mechanical proficiency, troubleshooting, problem-solving, technical writing, organizational, and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of PLCs, computer serialization, packaging equipment, and vision inspection systems such as Cognex and Systech.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
