Enrollment Services Advisor II (Admissions and Student Services): Supporting students, faculty, and staff with admissions, registration, financial aid, advising, and enrollment processes with an accent on customer service, student communication, and enrollment systems. Focus on resolving enrollment concerns, managing service queues and databases, removing holds, supporting recruitment events, and guiding students from acceptance to enrollment.

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States; some travel is required for recruitment events, and work beyond normal office hours or on weekends may be required.

What you will do

  • Provide customer service and advising to students, faculty, and staff through phone, email, and in-person channels.
  • Answer questions about admissions, academics, registration, residency, transcripts, academic programs, advising, and financial aid.
  • Manage prospective-student communications, follow-up activities, databases, call queues, and walk-in service flow.
  • Use CRM, student information, call-management, queue-management, and project-tracking systems, including Element451, Banner, CISCO, QLess, and JIRA.
  • Resolve enrollment concerns, remove student enrollment holds, and support decisions related to financial aid, scholarships, and student matriculation.
  • Support recruitment and financial aid events, conduct presentations and informational sessions, and assist with Student ID Card operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
  • Two years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of word-processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organization, decision-making, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively and diplomatically and work with a multicultural student population.
  • Some supervision of staff or student workers may be required.
