Growth & Marketing Analytics Intern (SQL/BigQuery): Analyzing customer, order, campaign, cohort, and promotional data to support topline growth, acquisition, and customer lifetime value with an accent on complex SQL, marketing performance analysis, and data storytelling. Focus on evaluating campaign lift and A/B tests, maintaining AI-powered analytics tools, and presenting strategic recommendations to Growth leadership.
Location: New York, NY; hybrid schedule with at least 3 days per week in the office
Salary: $36.00 per hour in New York

What you will do
- Query BigQuery environments with complex SQL, window functions, CTEs, and multiple aggregation levels to analyze customer, order, and promotional data.
- Evaluate marketing campaigns, customer cohorts, promotional performance, campaign lift, and A/B tests.
- Formulate hypotheses around churn, brand preferences, customer engagement, and promotional incrementality.
- Manage and enhance the Growth Analytics AI chatbot in alignment with governance frameworks and single-source-of-truth metrics.
- Collaborate with Marketing, CRM, and Operations teams to answer strategic questions with data-backed insights.
- Translate analytical findings into visual slides, executive summaries, and strategic recommendations.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
- 0–1 years of experience; relevant internships, research, projects, or coursework are beneficial.
- Foundational SQL skills, including SELECT statements, JOINs, GROUP BY, aggregations, and relational databases.
- Familiarity with Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or advanced Google Sheets/Excel for modeling and charts.
- Strong data storytelling, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and proactive communication skills.
- Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
Nice to have
- Exposure to or strong interest in digital marketing, e-commerce, customer retention, cohort analysis, and promotional strategy.
- Experience with BigQuery, Looker, and DBT.
