TL;DR
Sr Training Supervisor (Medical Devices): Leading and developing training systems, programs, and initiatives that support safe, compliant, and efficient Production and Quality operations with an accent on employee competency development, training metrics, and continuous improvement. Focus on supervising training specialists, interpreting KPIs, and building effective learning programs in a regulated environment.
Location: On-site in Cartago, Costa Rica

What you will do
- Lead and develop the Training function.
- Ensure employees build the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for safe, effective, compliant, and efficient operations.
- Develop, implement, administer, and continuously improve training systems, programs, and initiatives.
- Support Production and Quality training requirements.
- Directly supervise Training Specialist and Training Specialist II positions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Education, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Learning and Development, Training, Manufacturing, Quality, Continuous Improvement, or related functions.
- Experience in a regulated medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of leadership, supervisory, project leadership, team development, or functional training leadership experience.
- Strong analytical skills for developing, interpreting, and communicating training metrics and KPIs.
- High English proficiency: B2+ / C1.
