TL;DR
Shopify Developer (Shopify Plus) (Liquid/Online Store 2.0): Maintaining and extending three Shopify stores with approximately 4,000 SKUs, existing apps, integrations, and B2B pricing structures with an accent on theme development, debugging, and Shopify Plus capabilities. Focus on troubleshooting theme and app conflicts, extending an existing codebase, supporting gated catalogues and customer-specific pricing, and collaborating during PST business hours.
Location: Remote from the Philippines or South Africa; availability during PST business hours is required for communication and collaboration.

A growing lighting business operating three Shopify stores for wholesale, direct-to-consumer, and luxury/heavy-trade customers across North America.
What you will do
- Modify, extend, troubleshoot, and maintain existing Shopify apps and integrations, including a custom product recommendation engine.
- Develop and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid and Online Store 2.0 across three stores.
- Support the four-tier B2B pricing and catalogue structure, including price lists, customer-specific pricing, and gated content.
- Resolve theme conflicts, app conflicts, cart issues, and checkout issues.
- Assist with Klaviyo integrations and technical setup when required.
- Take ownership of development work currently handled by an external agency and collaborate with the Shopify Manager and Sales/Marketing teams.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Shopify Plus development.
- Excellent knowledge of Liquid, Shopify theme architecture, and Online Store 2.0.
- Experience debugging and extending an existing codebase, apps, and integrations created by other developers.
- Experience with Shopify B2B, including price lists, company-specific pricing, and login-gated catalogues or content.
- Experience supporting large product catalogues and familiarity with Matrixify or similar bulk import/export tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems independently and work with minimal day-to-day supervision.
Nice to have
- Experience with Klaviyo and Shopify/ESP integrations.
- Experience taking over work from an external Shopify development agency.
- Experience with product recommendation engines, personalisation tools, or similar Shopify technology.
- Experience supporting multi-store Shopify environments.
