Solutions Architect - Nordics Fungible (Data & AI): Leading time-boxed customer engagements that move critical data, AI, and analytics workloads from evaluation to production with an accent on scalable architecture, platform adoption, and technical decision-making. Focus on designing distributed cloud solutions, building live Python and SQL demonstrations, and solving complex architecture challenges with senior customer stakeholders.
Location: Stockholm, Sweden; hybrid work arrangement

What you will do
- Lead technical strategy for targeted engagements lasting approximately one to five months.
- Accelerate strategic customer workloads from evaluation to production-grade technical wins.
- Design scalable solutions across data engineering, ML/AI, real-time analytics, cloud infrastructure, security, and governance.
- Lead whiteboarding sessions, design reviews, trade-off analysis, and architecture discussions with senior customer stakeholders.
- Demonstrate Databricks differentiation through custom-built solutions in competitive opportunities.
- Package engagement outcomes for transition to core solutions architects, specialists, data specialists, and partners.
Requirements
- Approximately six or more years of experience in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical presales, or a senior hands-on technical role.
- Hands-on coding ability in Python and SQL, including building, debugging, and demonstrating working solutions live.
- Strong knowledge of distributed data systems, production cloud deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, scalable pipelines, streaming, and lakehouse patterns.
- Experience with infrastructure, security, and governance for production data platforms.
- Proficiency with the Databricks Platform or the ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies.
- Experience leading architecture discussions, design reviews, trade-off analysis, and translating complex architecture into business value.
Nice to have
- Databricks certifications in data engineering, ML, or platform technologies.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS native services, or Azure Synapse.
- Experience in a data/AI company or cloud provider.
- Industry expertise in financial services, healthcare, retail, media, or another vertical.
