Data Scientist (Computer Vision/Robotics)

What you will do

• Own and contribute to ML/CV pipelines for robotics autonomy and perception, including training, evaluation, iteration, and edge integration.
• Design and operate data flows from flight and simulation ingestion through data lakes, warehouses, labeling, dataset versioning, and reproducible training pipelines.
• Generate, validate, and combine simulated and real flight data while measuring and reducing sim-to-real gaps.
• Improve model quality for noisy sensors, limited compute, Jetson-class edge deployment, and operational edge cases.
• Collaborate with robotics, autonomy, and product engineers to ship changes that improve real missions.
• Build tooling and automation for dataset curation, experiment tracking, evaluation, and AI-assisted workflows.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer working with computer vision, perception, or robotics ML.
• Experience owning both model development and ML data infrastructure, including pipelines, lakes or warehouses, and dataset management.
• Experience training, evaluating, and integrating detection, tracking, recognition, or similar CV/ML models into real systems.
• Strong Python and modern ML tooling skills, including PyTorch or TensorFlow, experiment tracking, and data/ETL fundamentals.
• Understanding of mathematics and physics, including sensors, geometry, dynamics, and physical-world constraints.
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher and readiness to work in a hybrid Kyiv setup.

Nice to have

• Experience with edge or embedded platforms such as Jetson or Qualcomm.
• Expertise in ATR, object recognition, tracking, autonomous systems, robotics, drones, aerospace, or defense environments.
• Hardware-software integration experience.
• Experience scaling ML data platforms and closing the loop from field logs to redeployed autonomy.
