What you will do
- Collect and annotate linguistic data for training and evaluating language models and internationalization tools.
- Review and validate annotations for accuracy and consistency.
- Document data sources, annotation guidelines, and project progress.
- Develop expertise in annotation tools, linguistic concepts, and data management practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, computational linguistics, computer science, speech science, language studies, or a related field, plus 1–2 years of industry experience; or a master’s degree with relevant experience.
- Knowledge of syntax, semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics, and related areas.
- Experience with data annotation, linguistic analysis, or corpus management.
- Familiarity with at least one annotation tool or platform.
- Experience with database queries and data analysis using SQL, spreadsheets, or similar tools.
- Experience with Python, strong attention to detail, and good organizational skills.
