Product Designer (AI)

Location: Oakland, California, United States; hybrid schedule with in-office work on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and work-from-home option on Tuesday and Friday.

Salary: $134,000–$183,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Design product experiences across the core platform and AI-powered capabilities, from discovery through prototypes, production specifications, and launch.
• Partner with Product Management, UX Research, and Engineering to clarify requirements and test hypotheses.
• Simplify complex legal and technical workflows into clear, reusable interface patterns.
• Use AI tools such as Cursor and Claude Design to explore concepts, test ideas, and accelerate iteration.
• Contribute to the design system and identify new components as the platform scales.
• Earn product certification to build deep knowledge of the platform and user needs.

Requirements

• 1+ years of product design experience, ideally with complex B2B SaaS applications.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong product thinking and the ability to craft elegant interfaces for complex problems.
• Thoughtful adoption of AI capabilities in the design process.
• Ability to balance speed, craft, and practical decision-making while working with incomplete information.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• Degree or advanced degree in graphic design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
• End-to-end design experience from user research through post-launch evaluation.
