Writer (Game Narrative)

Location: On-site in Brno, Czech Republic; candidates must be based in Brno and willing to move.

What you will do

• Write immersive and authentic descriptions for weapons, gear, consumables, and UI features.
• Create quest texts, dialogues, mission objectives, and narrative content with Narrative and Quest Designers.
• Collaborate with design, art, and UI teams to integrate writing into gameplay and the game world.
• Support localization by preparing string databases, maintaining terminology glossaries, and resolving linguistic queries.
• Proofread, edit, and refine written assets in a consistent realistic and military tone.

Requirements

• English at minimum C1 level.
• Experience in writing, narrative design, or copyediting; gaming industry experience is advantageous.
• Strong storytelling ability, creative vision, attention to detail, and an ability to write in a realistic, tactical, gritty tone.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of, or willingness to learn, narrative and localization tools.
• EU work eligibility is required. Visa sponsorship is not available.
