Technical Manager (Cloud Solutions)

Location: Hybrid role based in Bogotá, Colombia

Salary: COP 17,500,000–21,175,000 per month; monthly stipend: COP 4,025,000

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver enterprise-level applications and cloud-based solutions.
• Lead projects throughout the software development life cycle, including estimation, sprint planning, requirements gathering, architecture, development, testing, risk management, change control, and delivery.
• Lead technical teams and oversee small teams of employees while managing relationships with multiple clients.
• Diagnose complex technical and business problems and implement solutions across web and mobile development, Azure, AWS, data-driven solutions, IoT, machine learning, and DevOps.
• Use AI tools strategically in client solutions while articulating responsible and ethical AI practices.
• Present to stakeholders, facilitate meetings, mentor junior colleagues, and support recruitment and team development.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Experience in technical or management consulting and current leadership of technical projects.
• Demonstrated project management experience, including planning, estimation, execution, issue and risk management, and resource allocation.
• Experience architecting technical solutions for complex problems and communicating with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience across all SDLC phases and Agile software development practices.
• Fluency in English is required for communication with US-based colleagues and customers; candidates must be legally authorized to work for any company in Colombia without sponsorship.
