What you will do
- Build and own Android features across payments flows, real-time market data, and core trading UI.
- Implement polished, performant interfaces with Jetpack Compose for real trading conditions.
- Build and maintain WebSockets, gRPC, and streaming-data integrations for live market features.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Gradle configuration to improve shipping reliability.
- Identify gaps in Android architecture and engineering practices before they affect the product at scale.
- Collaborate with a distributed team across time zones and make high-ownership technical decisions.
Requirements
- Strong, current Kotlin experience in production Android applications.
- Strong production experience building UI with Jetpack Compose.
- Practical experience contributing to CI/CD pipelines and managing Gradle build configuration.
- Solid understanding of modern Android architecture and independent technical decision-making.
- Active use of AI tools as part of the development workflow.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating payments on Android.
- Experience with WebSockets, gRPC, or other real-time mobile data patterns.
- Familiarity with cross-platform shared-code architectures.
- iOS or Swift experience.
- Experience in a larger, mature engineering organization.
