Senior Algorithm Engineer (Machine Learning)

Location: Taipei, Taiwan; hybrid work with 3 days in the office

What you will do

• Design, train, and deploy machine learning models for CTR, CVR, and value prediction.
• Own the machine learning lifecycle from research and prototyping through production deployment, A/B testing, monitoring, and optimization.
• Build and evolve large-scale models serving low-latency, high-throughput real-time bidding traffic.
• Analyze auction and marketplace data to identify modeling opportunities and deliver measurable business impact.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams on scalable machine learning solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design reviews, code reviews, and technical investigations.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building machine learning and deep learning solutions end-to-end, from research and experimentation through production.
• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• Strong foundations in machine learning, optimization, and statistical modeling.
• Strong software engineering skills in Python or Java and experience developing production machine learning systems.
• Proven ability to move models from prototype to scalable, high-performance production environments.
• Experience using AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.

• Experience in recommendation systems.
