DCVI Localization Specialist (Audio Localization)

Location: Bangkok, Thailand; the role includes on-site work at approved local studios, with some final mastering quality control possible remotely.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end localization workflows for Thailand, including translation review, dubbing, subtitling, vocal recording, editing, and audio post-production.
• Support voice casting, dubbing and musical recording sessions, and ensure localized performances preserve the original creative intent.
• Review and approve subtitles for linguistic accuracy, timing, readability, and cultural relevance.
• Oversee studio production, Printmasters, final mastering quality control, audio quality, vocal balance, and mix integrity.
• Coordinate localization vendors, studios, Business Units, and DCVI stakeholders across Southeast Asia, London, and Burbank.
• Maintain project data and deliverables in internal systems and support legal processes, budget tracking, and cost control.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in post-production, sound production, or media localization, preferably with dubbing-heavy content.
• Strong knowledge of dubbing and sound post-production workflows, including audio engineering, recording, and mixing fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Pro Tools.
• Fluent written and spoken English and Thai fluency for the Thailand market are required.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, delivery accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to creative, production, and non-technical stakeholders.

• Musical background.
• Basic knowledge of AI-assisted tools for translation, voice analysis, audio enhancement, or quality control.
