Modelling Engineer (Digital Twins)

Location: Marsa, Malta

Minimum annual base salary: €28,800, with potential eligibility for a bonus and benefits package.

What you will do

• Develop, analyze, and maintain basic process models and digital twins for manufacturing equipment and workflows.
• Collect, prepare, and validate data for simulation studies.
• Support capacity analysis, bottleneck identification, workflow mapping, and operations analysis under supervision.
• Evaluate material flow, resource utilization, and logistics using established modeling tools.
• Prepare reports and recommendations for process improvement initiatives.
• Document modeling activities, assumptions, and updates, while collaborating with operations and engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, industrial engineering, or a similar field.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of process flow or industrial systems and an interest in simulation and digital twin technologies.
• Ability to collaborate effectively, with curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Siemens Plant Simulation, including Plant X.
• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or other scripting languages.
• Exposure to value stream mapping or operations analysis.
