Sr Procurement Specialist (Temporary)

Location: Marsa, Malta

Minimum annual base salary: €39,200, with potential bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead complex CAPEX sourcing projects for manufacturing equipment and construction investments across the EMEA region.
• Execute sourcing activities through RFIs, RFPs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
• Develop negotiation strategies and evaluation models covering total cost of ownership, should-cost, and lifecycle cost analysis.
• Build ethical relationships with suppliers and strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in investment reviews, identify synergies, and share category guidance and lessons learned.
• Maintain the sourcing project pipeline and provide progress and benefits reporting to senior management.

Requirements

• Experience executing CAPEX procurement activities.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural and matrix environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
• Good command of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice to have

• Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment or construction services.
• Knowledge of French, Italian, German, or other additional languages.
