TL;DR
Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin): Building and evolving Android features for the Tutti and Anibis mobile apps with an accent on Jetpack Compose, data layers, clean architecture, and cross-functional product development. Focus on shaping mobile architecture, improving app quality and performance, and delivering production features end-to-end.
Location: Hybrid work in Belgrade, Serbia, at the SMG office on Milutina Milankovića 1i.

What you will do
- Build Android features end-to-end, from technical design through production release.
- Develop and improve the Tutti and Anibis mobile applications.
- Contribute to mobile architecture decisions covering data layers, state management, modularization, and platform patterns.
- Drive the ongoing Jetpack Compose migration and improve application quality, performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, Android, iOS, and Backend colleagues across an international team.
- Review code, share engineering knowledge, and contribute to technical discussions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience building production Android applications with Kotlin.
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and production features.
- Understanding of clean architecture and experience designing data layers with repositories, caching, and error handling.
- Experience with Kotlin Coroutines and Flows, REST APIs, or backend-for-frontend patterns.
- Ability to explain design decisions and balance code quality, maintainability, and delivery.
- Good English is required as the working language. Android experience is essential.
Nice to have
- Professional iOS development experience with Swift and SwiftUI.
- Experience supporting products across Android and iOS.
- Experience contributing to mobile architecture or shared platform decisions.
- Open-source contributions or side projects demonstrating engineering craft.
