Senior Technical Project Manager (Cloud Infrastructure)

Location: Remote within Germany; hybrid or entirely on-site work is also available near offices in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, and Munich.

What you will do

• Own technical projects end to end across development teams and business functions.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into executable plans, roadmaps, iterations, and implementation phases.
• Coordinate priorities, dependencies, delivery sequencing, and parallel workstreams across multiple teams.
• Identify resource bottlenecks and delivery risks, and manage reporting, governance, and escalations.
• Develop PMO standards and processes, support portfolio prioritization, and mentor junior project managers.
• Report directly to the Head of Strategy Execution & ESG and contribute to the strategic roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical project or program management within software development or technical delivery organizations.
• Proven ownership of cross-functional initiatives with multiple parallel workstreams.
• Strong stakeholder and escalation management skills, with composure in ambiguous and changing environments.
• Confident use of Jira, Confluence, or comparable project management tools.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Professional fluency in English and ability to work remotely, hybrid, or on-site within Germany.

Nice to have

• Experience in cloud, hosting, or IT infrastructure environments.
• Experience with agile scaling, PMO, or portfolio management.
• German language skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or PSM certification.
