Contract Analyst 1 (Pharmaceutical/CRO)

What you will do

• Develop and revise clinical study contracts, budgets, scopes of work, work orders, GLSAs, and change orders.
• Collaborate with project management, operations, finance, and other stakeholders to maintain budgets in Excel.
• Assist with and lead negotiations of legal contracting text using established policies, templates, and fallbacks.
• Track outstanding contract and budget issues, ensuring timely resolution and accurate management updates.
• Act as a primary customer interface for medium and complex contracts while maintaining customer relationships.
• Support peers through pre-submission document reviews and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• BA or BS in business or life sciences, or equivalent experience.
• Approximately two years of pharmaceutical or CRO industry experience with contract management experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and Word.
• Ability to negotiate, solve problems, plan, multitask, and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication, organization, customer service, attention to detail, and independent working skills.
• Physical requirements include extensive telephone and face-to-face communication, keyboard use, and prolonged sitting.
