Principal Engineer - Global Operations Engineering (Medical Devices)

Location: Marsa, Malta

Minimum annual base salary: €39,200, with potential eligibility for bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead global cross-functional engineering projects with minimal supervision.
• Build business cases for profit margin improvements, supplier changes, and strategic initiatives.
• Plan and execute large-scale projects, including schedules, resources, capital, and operational expenditures.
• Monitor and report project progress, costs, and status to core teams and management.
• Lead complex problem-solving initiatives and implement CAPA using DMAIC, FMEA, DOE, and statistical analysis.
• Coach one or two engineers and prepare technical documentation such as protocols, reports, and change-control documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Hons.) or Science.
• 5–8 years of related experience.
• Experience in technical management, project management, and leadership.
• Ability to operate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate project status clearly.
• Occasional travel may be required.
