TL;DR
HPCBU Mechanical Engineer (HPC) (Creo/AutoCAD): Engineering mechanical solutions for high-performance computing products with an accent on mechanism design, mold processes, product verification, and production transfer. Focus on designing fixtures and molds, preparing engineering drawings and specifications, and supporting mass-production technology training and transfer.

Location: New Taipei City, Taiwan; onsite, full-time

Engineering and technology organization working on mechanical solutions for high-performance computing products.

What you will do

  • Evaluate RFQs and develop mechanisms, fixtures, product models, and engineering designs.
  • Review mold designs, mold trials, and injection-molding processes.
  • Support product verification, engineering drawing preparation, approval letters, and organization specifications.
  • Transfer products into mass production and deliver production technology training.
  • Coordinate product design reviews and execute mechanical engineering improvements.

Requirements

  • Experience using Creo, AutoCAD, and 2D/3D drawing software.
  • Knowledge of mechanism structural mechanics, materials science, mold design, injection molding, and machining.
  • Experience designing server internal/external lines or computer peripheral products.
  • Experience with product mass production and supplier quality and technology evaluations.
  • Knowledge of stress analysis, mold flow analysis, and high-frequency analysis.
  • Ability to use word-processing software.
