Global Cash Application Team Lead

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end cash application operations across APAC, EMEA, UCAN, and LATAM.
• Oversee payment posting and allocation, remittance matching, reconciliations, and resolution of unapplied, unidentified, short, over-, and duplicate payments.
• Lead, coach, and develop Cash Application Specialists; set KPIs, allocate workloads, manage coverage, and ensure SLA adherence.
• Coordinate with Collections and Credit, Billing, Treasury, ICO, Revenue, banks, and lockbox providers to resolve payment discrepancies.
• Lead regional governance meetings, review month-end close results and disputes, and agree corrective actions.
• Drive automation, standardization, reporting, system enhancements, and continuous improvement within cash application and C2C operations.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accountancy, Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or Cash Application.
• Experience leading or supervising a team is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems such as JDE, SAP, or Oracle, plus Microsoft Excel.
• Strong reconciliation, analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and process optimization skills.
• Experience in a shared services or global finance environment is advantageous.
