Senior Frontend Developer (Next.js / React)

Location: Belgrade, Serbia; onsite, as remote work is not available

hirify.global develops a high-traffic web platform supporting public web properties, documentation, customer dashboards, resource centers, and localized regional sites.

What you will do

• Build and evolve headless Next.js, React, and TypeScript applications using the App Router and React Server Components.
• Integrate frontend applications with Drupal through GraphQL and Apollo Client, including ISR and on-demand revalidation.
• Develop reusable UI components with Radix UI, shadcn/ui, and Tailwind CSS in line with the shared design system.
• Maintain existing Drupal themes using Twig, SCSS, Pug-based markup, and Webpack during the migration to Next.js.
• Own Core Web Vitals, accessibility, technical SEO, component testing, and Playwright E2E coverage.
• Participate in code reviews, investigate production incidents with Sentry, and improve engineering standards and codebase health.

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial React experience, including at least 2 years of Next.js production experience.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, including strict mode.
• Production experience with the Next.js App Router, React Server Components, client-side GraphQL, and Apollo Client or an equivalent.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS, component libraries, design systems, frontend caching, ISR, cache invalidation, and Core Web Vitals.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards, multi-locale applications, SCSS, template engines such as Pug or Twig, Webpack, Git, and code review.
• Ability to own features end to end, make technical decisions, diagnose production incidents, and maintain legacy frontend systems.

• Drupal theming and Storybook or another component workshop.
• Next Image, Sharp, Redis, and cache strategy or invalidation design.
• Marketing-site instrumentation including GTM, dataLayer, and consent management.
• Advanced technical SEO, structured data, sitemaps, and hreflang across locales.
