Senior Field Applications Specialist - Central Ky and TN (Diagnostics)

Location: USA - Remote; serves central Kentucky, Tennessee, and surrounding areas. The role requires up to 95% domestic and occasional international travel, including overnight stays, with onsite customer support and training.

Salary: $40.00–$46.00 per hour, plus bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Prepare customers for and complete validation studies for Chemistry and Immunoassay instrumentation.
• Set up instruments and perform calibration, precision studies, and method comparisons.
• Provide onsite and remote phone support for assay and quality-control questions.
• Deliver onsite training on proper instrument operation and reinforce customer readiness.
• Address operational and performance questions in line with specifications and regulatory standards.
• Partner with Technical Support, Field Service, Sales, and Customer Training teams.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree and at least 3 years of combined experience with laboratory, diagnostic instrumentation, or a related field.
• Advanced understanding of the diagnostics or healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of the laboratory regulatory environment.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to travel extensively and lift, move, or place up to 50 lbs, as well as stand, walk, sit, squat, kneel, use stairs, and reach.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Medical Laboratory Science experience.
• Experience with laboratory management practices, quality control, record keeping, and CAP, CLIA, or COLA requirements.
