TL;DR
FP&A Director - Maternity Cover (SaaS): Leading the FP&A function for a multi-brand, multi-entity SaaS and hosting ecosystem with an accent on performance narrative, group reporting, planning, forecasting, and financial steering. Focus on translating complex financial data for the CFO, Executive Committee, Board, shareholders, and lenders, while developing the team and improving reporting and planning systems.
Location: Fully remote, with listed locations in Ghent, Belgium; Lisbon, Portugal; Worcester, UK; and Copenhagen, Denmark

What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of four FP&A professionals while setting the functionβs strategic agenda, resourcing, and succession plans.
- Own the groupβs performance narrative and monthly reporting package for the CFO, Executive Committee, Board, shareholders, and lenders.
- Lead the annual budgeting, long-range planning, rolling forecast, and latest-estimate processes across business units, central functions, divisions, and brands.
- Partner with the CFO and Executive Committee on resource allocation, investment, risk, and financial steering.
- Own the central business control and performance measurement frameworks, including KPIs, scorecards, and OKRs.
- Drive reporting and planning systems automation and represent FP&A in finance transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- 12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial reporting and planning, or corporate finance, including several years at Head or Director level.
- Experience leading a full FP&A function in a complex, multi-entity or multi-brand organization.
- Experience presenting to and steering discussions with Boards, shareholders, and/or lenders.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA is preferred.
- Strong financial modelling, reporting, business control, stakeholder management, and people leadership skills.
- Fluency with planning platforms such as Anaplan or Adaptive Insights and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Nice to have
- Experience in a private-equity-backed, subscription, SaaS, hosting, or technology business.
- Experience building and developing a high-performing finance team of five or more.
