Senior QA Engineer (Web3)

What you will do

• Lead manual, exploratory, functional, regression, load, stress, and performance testing for Web3 and platform features.
• Validate blockchain transactions, RPC interactions, wallet authentication, transaction signing, smart contract events, upgrades, migrations, and multi-chain compatibility.
• Test synchronization between on-chain and off-chain systems, decentralized identity flows, and event-driven workflows.
• Track defects, maintain test cases and QA documentation, and monitor production logs, blockchain explorers, and analytics dashboards.
• Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams on test environments, staging pipelines, CI/CD coverage, and job configurations.
• Evaluate AI-powered testing tools, advocate for quality across delivery cycles, and mentor junior QA engineers.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of total QA experience, including end-to-end quality ownership.
• At least 2 years of hands-on Web3 testing experience involving blockchain integrations, wallet flows, or decentralized systems.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, defect lifecycles, blockchain fundamentals, transactions, gas, confirmations, and RPC endpoints.
• Experience validating APIs with Postman or similar tools; proficiency with Jira, Git, browser developer tools, and basic command-line workflows.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Familiarity with AI-powered testing tools, including test-case generation, prioritization, and log analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience testing MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, WalletConnect, or custom wallets.
• Knowledge of smart contracts, Solidity basics, and blockchain debugging tools.
• Experience with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Knowledge of backend technologies, APIs, PHP, Linux, or Bash scripting.
• Hands-on experience with AI platforms used in QA.
