Software Development Engineer (External Fulfillment)

What you will do

• Design and develop solutions for complex engineering problems in external fulfillment.
• Build scalable, multi-tiered, distributed systems supporting tens of millions of daily business operations across thousands of Fulfillment Centers.
• Own key initiatives end to end and communicate effectively with management and stakeholders.
• Contribute to system architecture, component design, development standards, documentation, and integration.
• Develop high-performance, test-driven code and maintain both existing production systems and new components.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code quality, testing, deployment, and QA processes.

Requirements

• Professional software development experience outside internships.
• Experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Programming experience in at least one software programming language.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
